What safety measures should I take?

You must follow these safety tips and those on the product when lighting your candle or using the wax warmer for the wax melts.

Candles:

  • Trim your wick to 1/4″ before each burn. This ensures that your flame does not smoke, flicker, or rise too high.
  • Your first burn needs at least 2-3 hours to achieve a complete melting pool. An entire melting pool prevents tunneling, which is access wax build-up on the side of your vessels.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep your candle out of reach of children and pets.
  • Never burn your candle near anything that can catch fire.
  • Ensure you place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep lit candles away from any drafts.
  • Never burn your candle down. Always leave 1/2 inch of wax in the bottom of the vessel.
  • Never touch or move a burning candle when the wax is liquid.
  • Place burning candles at least 4 inches apart from one another.
  • Never use water to extinguish our candle.

Wax Melts:

  • Avoid excessive burn time; no more than 3 hours. Do not touch the warmer or wax while on.
  • Place your product in a warmer designed for wax melts. Dyed wax melts will stain surfaces, so be careful when handling them.
  • Never leave a warmer unattended. Put it out and turn it off before leaving the room.
  • Place your melt warmer in a stable position, on a heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects, and never add water.
  • You can use wax melt until the scent has faded. Once faded, remove wax residue and add new wax melt.
  • Keep pets and children out of reach.

What is a wax melt?

Wax melts are scented pieces of wax that can come in various shapes and sizes. They are like candles without a wick. They require a wax melt burner to melt the wax and release the fragrance. Unlike candles, the wax does not burn away, so you can change the wax in your burners when the fragrance oil has burned away, and little or no scent remains.

What is a wax melt warmer?

There are two types: electric or tealight. The tealight burner requires tealight candles to warm the burner. It is essential to distinguish these from oil burners, which are usually smaller. The smaller gap between the flame and the dish means it gets much hotter, which is ideal for oils.

Electric burners have no flame, so they are often the preferred choice for people with pets or young children who worry about lit candles. They do not get as hot, so scent throw may not be as strong, but wax melts will tend to last longer in electric burners.

How long do wax melts last?

It can last approximately 18 hours of scent.

How often should I change the wax in my wax warmer?

We recommend switching to a fresh wax melt every 2-3 4-hour.

Do wax melts evaporate?

Wax melts do not evaporate. Burn the same wax piece until you can no longer smell the scent, and dispose of the residual wax.

How do you remove wax melts?

We have two favorite ways of removing wax melts from a wax burner. First, we love to use cotton wool or cotton pads to soak up the molten wax and wipe the dish clean. Second, you can wait for the wax to harden, then run the dish under a warm tap so the wax pops out with ease. Make sure you completely dry your wax burner dish before using it again.

How do you clean a wax warmer dish?

You can remove your wax with a clean dishcloth at all times.

Can I reuse wax melts?

Once the scent evaporates, switch your wax melt to a fresh one.

Type of Products?

We always select and use vegan-friendly wax and fragrance oils. When making our candles and wax melts, we do not use ingredients derived from animal products.

Soy wax candles are 100% vegan and do not contain any animal byproducts, making them cruelty-free and eco-friendly.

Do you use essential oils?

We use high-quality, clean fragrance oils specifically made for candles and wax melts.

What size candle do I need for my space?

One candle works great in bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and typically-sized living/work spaces. However, larger rooms or spaces with high ceilings or open floor plans may need multiple candles for the best aroma.

Wick trimming?

Before every burn of your candle, it is essential to trim the wick. If your candle wick is too long, it can cause smoking and blacken the sides of your vessel. We recommend a cut length of 1/8 inch using a wick trimmer, scissors, or nail clipper. Cut the wick once the wax has cooled to avoid any wick trimmings in the wax. Not trimming a wick that is too long will not only cause your candle to burn quicker and hotter, but it could also prohibit your wick from even staying lit.

What is a wax melt liner?

Wax Melt Liners make changing your scented wax melts quick, convenient, and super easy. Place a liner in your wax warmer dish, add your favorite scented wax, and when you’re done, discard the liner.
